We all know that Wales has fine food to offer, and no better place to discover artisan food than the Monmouthshire Food Festival. Held in the beautiful grounds of Caldicot Castle, you will be thrilled with the wide variety of food available to experience.

In the demonstration theatre you will see the best chefs in the country showing you their skills. In the producers’ market you will find food to enjoy, to take home, to cook with. There is local food of course but food from beyond the area too. Foodies will love it.

If you like local beer then you will enjoy tasting beer that was brewed just a mile from the festival site. There are hands on workshops including masterclasses on bread making. Or how about a chocolate tasting session with a Master Chocolatier from Black Mountain Gold?

Guide Dogs Cymru will be on hand to demonstrate how blind and partially sighted prepare wonderful mouth-wateringly delicious meals from scratch!

If you have little ones with you then pop along to the Children’s Quarter. There will be plenty of healthy options for them to try, as well as activities to help them learn all about food choices.
