For one weekend only Le Cordon Bleu London will be popping up at the Cake & Bake Show. From 5th to 7th October, anyone can experience a taste of life at the the renowned culinary school. A team of Le Cordon Bleu Master Chefs will be hosting a series of exciting patisserie themed events, offering all ticket holders of Cake & Bake the opportunity to take part. With a combination of live demonstrations, as well as hands on Master Classes, Le Cordon Bleu Master Chefs will be giving participants the chance to gain some new patisserie skills, and bring home amazing recipes that can easily be replicated. Le Cordon Bleu will also be sponsoring the Slice of Advice stage where guests of The Cake & Bake Show can ask all of their dessert and pastry making questions!

Attendees of the Cake & Bake Show can take part in live Master Classes hosted by Le Cordon Bleu Master Chefs (tickets cost £10 per person) during which essential pastry techniques will be taught – details below;

Spiced Pear Dacquoise with Chocolate and Red Wine Sauce : Guests will prepare a rich chocolate ganache and pan-fried spiced pears to assemble inside a crunchy nut meringue nest and finished with a drizzle of warm red wine chocolate sauce.

Lemon Tart: Guests will learn how to produce the perfect tartlet filled with a rich zingy lemon curd and topped with light as air meringue. Brush up on piping skills under the guidance of the expert Le Cordon Bleu Master Chefs

In addition to the hands-on Master Classes above, show visitors can also attend a number of free demonstrations being hosted by Le Cordon Bleu London.

Apple Tart Tatin: the famous upside-down apple tart has been re-worked to create this stunning modern plated dessert. Watch as the Pâtisserie Chefs of Le Cordon Bleu create this beautiful dish live, picking up expert hints and tips to use at home along the way.

Praliné Croissant: Le Cordon Bleu Master Baker will demonstrate the intricacies of homemade croissants. With a delicious twist on the original recipe, he will include a homemade praliné paste layered throughout the dough and in an irresistible filling. Definity worth the effort!
