The Faversham Food Festival is 3 days of fun where the community and visitors can celebrate the beautiful local food and drink of Faversham. The festival lets people of the local area as well as visitors from further afield to taste, enjoy and celebrate the food and drink produce from the East Kent triangle. The Kent Triangle is formed of Faversham, Whitstable and Canterbury which all feature throughout the festival with their amazing restaurants, cheesemakers and fishmongers.  So if you enjoy celebrating and eating locally produced food, the Faversham food festival is must visit.

The festival will have a number of events for visitors to enjoy including the famous Faversham Sausage Trail, the Faversham Ale Trail and Fish Night on the Quayside. There will be a number of competitions for visitors to take part in including the oyster cooking challenge and ‘best-raised pie’ competition. The little ones can enjoy a teddy bears’ picnic and live music will be playing throughout the 3-day event featuring local talent.

The festival takes place over 3 days with each day having a different theme and event. The Friday night will be Fish Night where visitors can enjoy fresh barbecued fish, oysters, side dishes as well as plenty of delicious drinks, the ale trail and live music. The Saturday will have a medieval and community theme and will have stalls spread throughout the town at different community locations. There will also be live jazz and a teddy bears’ picnic. The Sunday is the food festival which will be spread across the town centre and will include local food, world foods, drinks festival, games for all to play and the sausage trail.
