So you think you know about chilli and cheese? Well come along to the Cheese and Chilli Festival where you will get to enjoy both! It’s a great day out for every family member, including the dog! The previous years have been very good and this year promises to be another overwhelming success.

Children

The little ones are never forgotten when it comes to Cheese and Chilli festivals. There are Punch and Judy shows, falconry displays, there are those great inflatables and just for you guys, there is a magician!

Educational

Now don’t read that as boring. There are demonstrations and talks to entertain and educate you in all you need to know about chilli, growing them and using them. The is a chilli sauce competition which is judged by you, the general public. You can enjoy all the lovely food and then wash it down with a pint from the bar, which will be offering local beers, craft beers and ales.

Perhaps the real stars of the show are the traders, you can expect to see an extraordinary number of the UKs best food producers bringing a huge array of foods, chilli flavoured or otherwise.

So if you have had enough of cheese and chilli (is that even possible?) then there are lots of craft stalls and shopping stalls. Craft stalls are great; it’s really good to see the local talent and it’s the perfect place to buy original gifts you wouldn’t be able to get elsewhere.
