Dartington’s annual Food Fair on 27-28 May looks set to be Devon’s most delicious day out for the late Bank Holiday weekend. Its full schedule of food and family activities includes leading regional and national chefs and drinks experts.

Hosted by unique shopping destination, The Shops at Dartington, set in the idyllic grounds of the Dartington Estate, this two-day event attracts thousands as people flock to explore the region’s finest food and drink, learn new cookery skills and watch demonstrations by national and local star-chefs.

There are cookery demonstrations from the likes of Chris Sherville, Ben Palmer, Richard Hunt, and national wine expert Susy Atkins, workshop activities, local chefs, food producers, regional drinks, street food, family friendly workshops and live music to swing into the summer season. The festivities will continue into the evening on Sunday, as Bayards Kitchen will be serving pizza from 5pm. The next batch of Elmhirst Gin will be distilled in the brand-new in-house distillery located in the Food Shop, this is made just for The Shops at Dartington. There will be more than 50 food and drink vendors under a marquee, guests will be covered from the weather rain or shine as they graze from stall to stall.

There are plenty of activities for both adults and children, including a LEGO building competition, magic shows, face painting, pot-throwing, story-telling, craft activities and live animals to meet.
