
More than just a food festival or anything like it, Shropshire Kids’ Festival as the name suggests is dedicated to children and is aimed at raising money for a good cause – the Harry Johnson Trust. The event will be taking place at The Quarry in the heart of the beautiful town of Shrewsbury and all who attend are bound to have a fun filled couple of days.
Kids will actually be spoilt for choice at this event, with there being various educational activities suitable for all attendees from 0 to 14 years old. As creativity is known to encourage growth in young minds, the festival aims for its activities to be fun and creative first, while also being educational. In fact, it could be said that the motto of the weekend is ‘be prepared to get messy and participate’.
The organisers of it all are focused on the belief that expanding the world of kids through play is key to educating them and there will by subjects covered in hands-on activities such as technology, engineering, drama and of course, science. A range of brilliant businesses will be coming to Shropshire Kid’s Festival, bringing demonstrations, advice, and their talents to inspire your kids.

With over 100 activities and different workshops for them to take part in, if you attend this event you will never hear them say “I’m bored”.
