The Essex Food Festival is a summer event all foodies must attend! With a great focus on local produce, the festival is great for locals as well as visitors from further afield who are looking for some great tastes. The festival has “The Only Way is Local” marquee and “A Taste of Anglian Producers Village” which both feature the very best food and drink producers from the Essex and East Anglian area. The market stalls will give you a chance to browse, sample and buy products as well as buying some delicious street food and drink to enjoy whilst at the festival. The Essex Food Festival is a celebration of local food and drink and is a fun day out for all the family with something to suit all ages and food preferences, including vegan and gluten-free food! Some of the exhibitors you can expect to see at the festival will include: the Cheese and Pie Man, Choctails, East Coast Chilli Company, Harleston Cider Company, Mojito Mavericks, Rossi Ice Cream, Unique Jam Company and Verstegen Spices and Sauces.

As well as the great variety of exhibitors, there will also be plenty of live entertainment for all the enjoy. The social kitchen, masterclasses and cookery school are great chances to master your cooking skills and pick up some tips to take back to your own kitchen. Keep an eye out for the local and celebrity chefs who will be giving talks and masterclasses on their favourite dishes. For the little ones, there is also children’s entertainment and a kid’s cookery school. Live music will feature local bands and artists, providing a perfect atmosphere for a summer food festival.
