This five-pub festival which is linked by a coach service, is now a popular annual event in Medway, Kent. Each pub has 10 ales, ciders, food and live music. All the pubs will have different real ales, so there will be at least 50 different ales. Entrance to each pub is free. There is a coach service which links the pubs and a day pass costs £3. Each venue has different food and a variety of live bands, dancers and other entertainers. The pubs are close together so the coach journeys are not too long. They are all featured in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Please check the website for the addresses of each pub so that you can choose the best starting point. Three of the pubs are close to railway stations – Rochester and Gillingham – and all of them are close to bus services. The festival is normally held in July – which will return to that date next year – but had to be moved this year because it clashed with too many other local events.
Note, please check the event website before attending. Dates can change and events can get cancelled, we can not be held responsible.
