Dorset is where many food and wine lovers will be heading this May, to attend the steadily growing in popularity Christchurch Food Festival. Held on the town’s high street, which will be closed to traffic to allow for a smooth running and safe event, the festival will see more than 100 different stalls set up for you to peruse and lots of amazing cookery demonstrations and much-loved names in the world of food and drink.

Levi Roots has played a prominent part in past years and there are always a number of faces that will be familiar to you if you know your star chefs. As Christchurch wants the whole family to come along and enjoy this event, there will also be a kid’s kitchen set up to help educate kids and encourage them to improve and practice their cooking skills, while having fun in the process. Some of the dishes they may be having a go at and serving up include jam-packed fajitas, Caribbean tamarind chickpeas and very morish sunshine burgers.

Beyond the food and drink, there is also a lot of entertainment set for the weekend. What do you look for in a food festival?  Good food – check!  Good drink – check!
