Food festivals in Newcastle

Newcastle, famous for its industrial heritage, ale, and nightlife that’s constantly portrayed in the media, however, this city is also home to many exciting festivals that are ideal for food and drink enthusiasts. The beautiful Leasez Park is the ideal setting for the Newcastle Food and Drink Festival, which takes place in the summer time. Here you will find amazing street food traders, authentic food from all over the globe, as well as an array of local producers.

In true Geordie spirit, there is, of course, a Gin Festival held in the city, which has been described in Timeout as one of the “Top 10 things to do in Newcastle”. This event has only grown in popularity over the years and this year they provided plenty of new gins, brands, cocktails and master classes for guests.
