Food Festivals in Wales

Food festivals in Wales

Known for its stunning national parks, and Celtic culture, but what about the fantastic array of Food and Drink Festivals that the country of Wales has to offer?

The Gower Good Food Festival has been running for many years due to popular demand. This is the perfect summer, family day out; you can view interesting demonstrations such as glass blowing, as well as take part in arts and crafts. It’s a festival where some of the best local producers are able to showcase their business, and where the public can support them – who doesn’t love supporting local producers?

Perhaps a less family-friendly event would be the fantastic Swansea Gin Festival held in Brangwyn Hall; here there are more than 100 different gins and a variety of entertainment. You are handed your own glass of gin on arrival, can witness talks from gin experts and taste delicious food.

For all you Vegans there is the choice of the Swansea Vegan Festival in July, which is your chance to stock up on all the most mouth-watering plant-based treats!

These are just a snippet of what’s to offer in the Welsh world of Food and Drink Festivals, so if these do not catch your eye, then perhaps the many others will!
